Good News! Nickerson Township and SAER have completed the Permit needed to allow our New Grant Application to move forward. The signed Permit was forwarded to the DNR this morning.
The New Grant is to legally allow dirtbikes and ATVs to ride into Duquette and Nickerson along designated routes. When completed, signs showing the OHM/ATV routes will be posted starting on Erickson Road and ending in both towns. The Grant will allow maintenance funds to be used to fix up the trails that lead into the towns (such as old Highway 23 and the segment of trail that routes into Duquette’s Jackie Berger town park).
