·
The constitution change process has been completed. All eight amendments
passed. This was not too surprising as this round of changes was mainly done to
get the constitution in sync with what we’ve been actually doing. Thanks to the
constitution committee and everyone who participated.
·
It was brought up that the slacker secretary has still not come up with
the “rule list”. The old newsletters need to be reviewed to determine what
rules have previously been voted in. This should happen before (maybe not much
before) the next meeting.
·
Gene Perry and Lee Larson were voted in as probationary members. They
are primarily “woods guys”.
·
Mike Murphy asked about some concrete tunnels that we could get at a
bargain price. It was decided that we don’t want to spend money on tunnels at
this time.
·
Matt recruited the Grantsburg Hockey club to flag for all 5 races.
·
It was decided to get some vests for the flaggers and possibly track
officials. Roy was going to look to see what was available and purchase about
20 of them before the race.
·
Tim Kight moved a cabin up to the Grantsburg property. There was some
discussion about where it should go that was thankfully tabled until another
meeting.
·
The new micro guy is Bill Corcoran. If Todd Madland still wishes to
help, they will co-lead or some sort of arrangement like that. Otherwise, Bill
is the coveted MTG.
·
Bill Corcoran explained what was going on with the Burnett county zoning
initiative. We will need to decide how we wish to be zoned. There is a meeting
on April 5 and April 26 that a few club members should go to. Contact Bill if
you want to go. The next thing we will need to decide is how we wish the
property to be zoned.
