Club Meeting Minutes, for October 26, 2005

Attendance – 16

Ben Boenisch, Bob Chase , Ken Fastner, Scott Haraldson, Bob Housh, Jeff Klien, Mark Krey, Chuck Kurkowski, Matt Leebens, Todd Madland, Jeff Mack, Bob Maki, Rob Murphy, John Otto, Jeff Terrio, Ross Thompson

· Jeff Klien and Jeff Mack were both voted in as fully vested members.

· Stone Lake Summary – Event went quite well despite 10 inches of rain the week before the event. In hindsight, the resets should have been longer as most of the C riders houred out. After splitting the money with all the parties involved, the club broke even at best. We will discuss our level of involvement for 2006 at the next club meeting.

· MX Schedule - There was some discussion about the how many MX dates we want next year and when. Issue tabled for next meeting.

· Track Fence / Gate – The gate is done and no longer needs a stump in the center. The fence posts are at the track. Only 119 of 120 left to sink. Fence line will be just behind the right of way.

· GIA – All expenses have been turned into Ken and he is compiling them for the DNR paperwork. Will apply for next year shortly also.

· Club Officers – Nominations were accepted for club officers. See ballot under separate cover.

· Track Upgrades – Rob Murphy brought up several of his concerns regarding investments that need to be made to the track, believing that the track will not be around much longer without these things being done immediately. He made a proposal to buy the track from the club. After some lively debate, cut off by the meeting room becoming unavailable, he was asked to come back with something very specific regarding how club members would retain their current track privileges.

· Club Roster – Secretary was reminded that he forgot to send out the club roster. This will be done soon.
