· Club Newsletters - The secretary announced that the club newsletters and other communications would be sent by email only starting 2007. If you are reading this off of a piece of paper that you took out of a hand-addressed envelope, you need to get access to an email address and send that address to saer_secretary@yahoo.com.
· Stone Lake – Our level of involvement in the Stone Lake Enduro is still undecided. It will probably be either the same 2006 or less. Discussion on this issue was tables until the next meeting.
· Holyoke – Some our trails were hit pretty hard with logging. The Enduro is now the 3rd weekend of August. The date of the MX National has changed again, so we do not want to go against it. The rest of the trail bosses were OK with this new date. The DNR is pretty hot for us to build the bridge over Stateline Creek. Therre seems to be a bit of disagreement over where the Stateline Creek is at that point.
· GIA – Expense reports are in. In 2006, we took in xxxxx less than the previous year. We have quite a lot of excess that we can use in 2007.
· Grantsburg – The section after the first tunnel jump was re-routed so that we no longer use the extremely dug-in section between the second turn and the second tunnel jump. It now goes up on the “ledge” and then hits the entrance to the parking lot section more straight on.
· Budget Committee – The expense reports are on the web site and should be used whenever submitting expenses this year.
· Enduro of the Year Trophy – We are still pricing out the costs of a new Enduro of the Year Trophy. This is the D23 traveling trophy that we agreed to upgrade earlier this year.
· Darrell (spelling) Ion was voted in as a probationary member.

There were no new district rules passed that will affect us. Ken stepped down as Trail Rep, buy Mark Krey was voted in as 25+ MX Rep, so we have the same number of members on the D23 board. Besides our club rep, we have John Otto (Enduro Rep), Ross Thompson (125 MX Rep), Mark Krey (25+ MX Rep), and Bob Chase (Vet MX Rep. No longer webmaster!!! J).
The Sanction meeting went quite well. MX Chair-elect, Mike Murphy, with the encouragement of several other club members present, was able to secure four decent motocross dates (see 2007 SAER calendar above), spaced three weeks apart in the spring, with two double-dates. At the last club meeting (see above), it was left open whether we would have a Quad-Only date. Since the Quad schedule already had 15 dates on it and we were able to get good dates for bike races, we will not be having a Quad date for 2007.
