The
winter club party has been set for February 18th at the St. Louis Park Tavern
just as it was last year. You can get there as early as 5:00 and we will eat at
6:00, bowling will start after dinner until 9:30 with more food brought out to
our lanes. We should have more time to bowl this year, and when we are done we
can use the party room as long as we want.

like last year, I am planning the go kart racing at Pro Kart, there will be a
limited number of spots available so please email me or call to reserve your

There
was some discussion about the schedule. It was thought that we may will a March
work day at Grantsburg and a May work day at the Nemadji. Nothing was scheduled
at this time.

A
few ideas were discussed about marketing our events. It was thought that a
poster might be a good thing to get into dealers and perhaps an ad form of it
could be in Cycle USA. A main goal is to
make sure people know that we have practice dates this year. Bob Chase will
look into ad rates and deadlines, with the goal of getting something in the
March issue of Cycle USA.

Mark
Krey volunteered to create the sign at our the Grantsburg gate that shows the
year’s schedule. Who ever has the stencils, let Mark know so that won’t be a
reason for procrastinating on this.

MN
Off Road needs articles about motorcycling. Ken Fastner has offered to be the
writer or at least the article receiver for these articles. If you have any
ideas or want to write one yourself, contact Ken.

There
was some question about how to handle sound tests this year. It was decided to
first find out if the district is going to try to dictate a policy on this.
·
A
motion was made and passed that any member or guest riding at Grantsburg on
non-race days must use a stock or quieter exhaust system.
