· 2007 Dues are due. Please take the time to submit them promptly as it would relieve the treasurer and secretary of the distasteful job of sending out reminders.
· The Dues structure has been changed. It is now: Jan 1 thru April 1: $50, April 2 thru July 1: $75, after July 2, you’re out. $100 to buy back in.
· Dues can be sent to:
Roy Fleming
14550 94th St. N.E.
Elk River, MN 55330
· SAER is looking for someone to take on the responsibility of Trophy Guy. Time is running short before our event season starts. Help!!
· If you know of any group that may be interested in flagging our 1st and 3rd race, contact Mike Murphy.
· Don’t forget that we decided to schedule the March and April meetings a week earlier than normal, because of the timing of our races.

Club Meeting Minutes, from February 28, 2007
Attendance
Club Members – Bob Chase, Ken Fastner, Scott Haraldson, Darrel Ion, Tim Kight, Mark Krey, Doug Less, Jeff Mack, Billy May, Mike Murphy, Rob Murphy, Greg Nelson, John Otto, Ross Thompson
Prospective members – Duane Nienow (2nd)
· GIA is in bit a bit less than thought. Request for this year submitted but not yet received back.
· Grantsburg – A reminder of the new schedule / fees:
o Saturday Practice will run from 11:00 – 5:00
o Practice fee - $20
o Raceday Signup to start @ 6:30, Practice @ 8:30, Riders Meeting @ 9:30, Race @ 10:00
o Race Entry - $30, Gate Fee – $8
o Vehicles arriving before practice is over will not pay camping (won’t necessarily advertise it that way)
o Race sign-ups will be accepted during Saturday practice.
o Gates will open @ 9:00 Saturday morning and close @11:00 pm. Will re-open @ 6:00 am Sunday.
· Flagging - The snowmobile club is set to flag at the 2nd and 4th event, but still looking for others. The Grantsburg Hockey club is doing fund raisers with the water skip, so they may not be available. We also discussed figuring out the pay if we had to hire individuals to do it.
· KTM Demo day - No word yet from KTM.
· Signs – (Not the Mel Gibson movie ) Mark Krey will take care of making new signs for 2007. There was some discussion about something fancier, like a magnetic one that we could easily change. That may happen later.
· Outhouse – Any new one would not be done in time for the first motos, so we discussed having a few Biffys out in the pits. No real consensus on that, but did decide that the existing outhouse should have a light by it so people can see where it is.
· Vendors – They will not be charged (much?), but we do want them to register. Rob Murphy will coordinate. 651-755-0017
· Insurance – There was some discussion about using the Rider Network for insurance on practice days. Probably too late for this year, but we’ll look into it more.
· Holyoke – Ken checked out big clearcut in Greg’s section. Should be able to route the trail such that we don’t lose any mileage there. Greg has asked not to be a section leader this year. Since the area of the sections is changing, Ken F will figure out what the sections now are and who can be the leaders of them.
· Stone Lake – Club participation will be the same as last year, with MOTR doing half of the trailwork and all of the logistics. SAER will do the other half of the trailwork and provide volunteers for event day. There was some discussion about holding a Hare Scrambles there.
