· We need help the day before the Trail Ride, which would be Friday, September 24. This means during the day, not just the night before.

Club Meeting Minutes, August 18, 2004
Attendance – 10

Prospective Members – None
Old Business
· Nobody did not accept the non-reading of the minutes that were not taken last month
· Enduro went well. Rave reviews on the message board.
New Business
· Trophies set-up and ready to go. Greg Nelson will not be there race day, so someone needs to take charge of handing them out.
· Rob has arranged for a local guy to do the grading for the next race. He will be there to make sure the guy understands what needs to be done. There was some discussion about hiring someone vs renting the equipment. No resolution came from it.
· Tim Kight estimated the cost of materials for the new club house to be 12-15K. This is assuming that the construction talent we have in the club does most of the actual work.
· Ken will be the Flagger whip at the race.
· The full text of the email sent by El Presidente. The work scheduled for “this weekend” should be done by the time you read this, but that depends on the turn-out.
SUNDAY
- Ken Fastner will arrive on Sunday with the new scoring shack.
- Tim Kight will arrive with Ken and a Bobcat.
- Tim Kight will clear and level a new spot, with the Bobcat, for the the
new shack.
- Tim Kight will also use the Bobcat to move the old scoring shack into
position in the mini infield.
- YOU will bring your skillsaw/hammer/tape measure and build a flagger
stand on the side of new shack with any existing wood we have around there.
- Rob Murphy will bring up Tousley Sports Center billboard. YOU should help
put it up.
MOTO WEEKEND
- Rob Murphy will be overseeing the track grading by the new guy, Lee.
- Ross Thompson will hook up electricity to the new shack.
- Mike Murphy will bring the new Air Conditioner unit to be installed.
- Mike Murphy will bring plexiglass to put in windows in the new shack.
- YOU should bring a saw/tape measure/hammer to help in the builing process.
- Bill Corcoran will oversee the building of scoring tables in the new
shack.
- Motorcycles should be brought and ridden on the track and in the woods.
- Friday night is official party/fun night at the old Grantsburg loop. Come
up to the moto early and talk smart all night long.
Let's make this club fun again so people WANT to attend meetings and events.
