Track Info:

Our 1.5 mile long private motocross track is open to the public only a few times each year. If you’re looking to try something new this is your chance. We offer an old school sand track designed and prepped for bikes, that you are sure to enjoy.

For the mini racers we have a separate dirt, not sand, track with a kid friendly but challenging layout.

Weather looking a little wet and sloppy? Sand is a blast to ride when wet. You won’t believe the traction you can get in wet sand. When everyone else’s track is a muddy mess Grantsburg will be a blast, sand blast that is!

    • 4/10 Friday: Race Workers & Members Only
    • 4/11 Saturday: 8:00am – 10:00pm
    • 4/12 Sunday: 6:30am
  • Gate Fees:
    • $10 – 7 Years and Older
  • Camping:
    • NO FRIDAY CAMPING
    • Saturday – Sunday $20 / Site
      • NOTE: All Sites are primitive with NO hookups.
      • NOTE: Quiet time is 10pm – 6am. If your generator sounds like a straight piped 4 stroke, you may be asked to shut it down.
  • Saturday Practice Fees:
    • We’re bringing PRACTICE back!

    • NOTE: Please purchase your AMA & District 23 Memberships in advance online to save significant time at sign up
    • PLEASE: Get your AMA Annual Release card before the season starts to save time as well!

  • 6:30 am – Sign up opens (At Clubhouse)
  • 8:00 am – Practice
  • 9:15 am – Required Riders Meeting (At Clubhouse)
  • 9:30 am – Races start
  • **9:30 am – Mini Track Riders Meeting (At Mini Track Start)
  • **9:45 am – Mini Track Races Start

Other Requirements:

  • AMA Membership
  • AMA District Membership
  • No spark arrestor required.
  • Sound Test – Sunday @ Motocross track as needed

All races held at the Grantsburg track are AMA and District 23 sanctioned points-paying events. You must be a member of both the AMA and a local district (any district) to race. All applicable rules and regulations apply. Signup forms will be available for the AMA and District 23 at registration.

Course Details:

  • Our Mini track is beginner friendly while still being challenging and fun for experienced racers.

Directions from the Twin Cities:

The Grantsburg MX track is located on WI HWY 70 about 2 miles west of Grantsburg WI.  Sections of the track can easily be seen on the south side of the Highway.

Take I35 north to MN HWY 70 east. Continue east on MN HWY 70 over the St Croix River Bridge into Wisconsin (WI HWY 70) about 2 miles.   After you pass Soderbeck Road, turn into the next driveway on the right (south) side of the highway.
